The Finance Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a one-day stakeholder consultation workshop to initiate the implementation of the newly approved Fixed Asset Management Policy 2024 for the Health Department and Elementary and Secondary Education Department, according to a press release issued on Monday.
The Provincial Government recently approved this policy to ensure the effective management and utilization of fixed assets, aiming to enhance service delivery. This policy marks a significant step towards promoting transparency, efficiency, and fiscal responsibility in the management of public assets.
Key officials, including Special Secretary Regulation Abidullah Kakakhil, Additional Secretary Finance Gul Bano, Financial Consultant Waqas Paracha, and representatives from the Health, Elementary and Secondary Education, and Planning and Development Departments, participated in the workshop.
The event brought together key stakeholders from the Health Department, Elementary & Secondary Education Department, Planning & Development Department, and Finance Department to discuss the policy’s implementation.
Muzammil Aslam, Advisor to the Chief Minister for Finance, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, led the workshop and underscored the critical importance of this policy in ensuring the optimal use of public investments in assets.
