Federal Board Releases Results for Intermediate Parts I and II for 2024

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Islamabad announced the results of the 2024 Intermediate Part I & II annual examinations on Friday, with girls securing the top positions once again.

According to the results, the pass rate for Class 11 was 58.75%, while Class 12 had a higher pass rate of 82.58%. A total of 93,257 students appeared in the 11th-grade exams, with 53,369 passing, while 90,518 students took the 12th-grade exams, with 72,653 passing.

In the Pre-Medical Group, Arooba Asim from Punjab College for Women, Khayaban Sadiq Sargodha, claimed first place with 1,065 marks. The second position was shared by Tahreem Imran from Army Public School and College, Gujranwala Cantt, and Hajra Najeeb from Army Public School and College Girls, Rawalpindi Cantt, both scoring 1,054 marks. Aafia Wajid from Army Public School and College for Girls, Humayun Road Rawalpindi Cantt, and Amina Riaz from Army Public School and College, Tufail Road Lahore Cantt, shared third place with 1,053 marks.

In the Pre-Engineering Group, Huda Ali Murtaza from HITEC School and College for Women, Taxila Cantt, secured first place with 1,045 marks. Abdullah Jawad from Siddique Public School for Boys, Madina Town Lohi Bhir, Islamabad, took second place with 1,043 marks, while the third position was shared by Muhammad Haseeb Iqbal from Siddique Public School, Madina Town Lohi Bhir, Islamabad, and Zayna Qasim from Army Public School, Fort Road Rawalpindi, both scoring 1,037 marks.

In the Science General Group, Hooria Mubashar Dar from Concordia College, DHA-II Islamabad, secured first place with 1,036 marks. Eesha Siddique from Army Public School, Fort Road Rawalpindi Cantt, took second place with 1,025 marks, and Aman Ajmal from Bahria College, Naval Complex E8 Islamabad, secured third place with 1,023 marks.

In the Commerce Group, Laiba Noor Ul Salam from Harvard College of Commerce and Sciences, Main Peshawar Road Rawalpindi, and Ewaz Faheem Khan from Punjab College of G/6-1 Abpara Islamabad shared the top position with 971 marks. Amra Mohamed Azahim from Pakistan Urdu School, ISA Town Bahrain, secured second place with 966 marks, while Faizan Ali from International School of Pakistan, Kuwait, took third place with 961 marks.

In the Humanities Group, Seerat Fatima from FG College for Women, Kashmir Road Rawalpindi Cantt, claimed first place with 1,003 marks. Sajl Bilal from FG Post Graduate College for Women, Wah Cantt, took second place with 1,001 marks, while Ashmal Noor from Punjab College G/6-1 Abpara Islamabad secured third place with 980 marks.

During the announcement ceremony, FBISE Chairman Syed Junaid Akhlaq briefed Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Secretary of Education Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani about the examination system. Dr. Siddiqui, who was the chief guest, congratulated the students, their parents, and teachers, praising the efforts of the Federal Education Board in timely compiling the results. He emphasized the government’s commitment to improving education quality and providing equal opportunities to all students. Dr. Siddiqui highlighted the importance of technology in education and urged the youth to use their knowledge to secure a bright future for Pakistan.

At the end of the ceremony, prizes were distributed to the position holders by the Federal Minister of Education, the Federal Secretary of Education, and the FBISE Chairman.
